A História de 'O Gato no Sapato'
"Leo was a small cat. He loved to play. His favorite toy was not a ball. It was a big, old brown boot! Every morning, Leo went to the closet. He looked for the big boot. 'Meow,' he said, when he found it. The boot smelled like adventure to him.
One day, the sun was shining. Leo saw the boot. It was on the floor. 'Perfect!' he thought. He jumped. Boing! He tried to go inside. The boot was too small for his whole body. But Leo was clever. He put his head inside. Sniff, sniff. It was dark and warm.

Leo investigando o interior da bota.
Suddenly, he heard a sound. Click, click, click. It was Sarah, his owner! Sarah was looking for her shoes. 'Where is my brown boot?' she asked. Leo was inside. He stayed very, very still. He wanted to surprise Sarah.
Sarah opened the closet door. She looked left. She looked right. 'Hmm, no boot,' she said. She was confused. Then, she saw a little black tail moving! Wiggle, wiggle. It was coming from inside the big brown boot!

Sarah descobre o esconderijo secreto de Leo!
Sarah laughed. 'Leo, you silly cat!' she said. She gently took the boot. Leo looked out, blinking his big green eyes. He jumped out and started to purr. Purrrr. Sarah picked him up and gave him a hug. 'You are my favorite little secret, Leo,' she whispered. And they played together, with the boot, of course!"
